riverclan - the underdog

appearance: mallowpaw is larger than average, with a long body and a whole lot of fluff. her coat is a warm cream hue, with a white underbelly and orange tabby markings. her eyes are a pale purple-grey and slightly bigger than normal, giving her a distant, aloof gaze.scars/deformities: n/askills: mallow is stealthy and steady, making her a skilled hunter and strategic fighter. she is a strong swimmer and can hold her breath for a very long time. what she lacks in academic inclination she makes up for with spatial awareness, intuition, and a clear mind under pressure.personality: to the naked eye, mallowpaw appears to be lazy enough to sleep through a battle. she has a permanently unimpressed and disinterested expression that can often be interpreted as disrespectful. It has given her a reputation for being unmotivated, when she is actually extremely loyal and diligent. few know the truth: she is committed to her duties and incredibly steadfast & reliable. sure, she does things at her own pace, but she knows the time and place for urgency. perhaps she isn’t the smartest cookie, but she has good instincts and a big heart. she’s often underestimated, but her character shines through under pressure. mallowpaw is also rather quiet, but has a dry sense of humor and surprisingly insightful commentary when prompted.quirks:
- likes to float in the water and even drop her head below the surface, timing how long she can hold breath. this hobby has scared passerby on occasion.
- collects smoother stones and pebbles, lining them up neatly by her nest.
- loves the sound of frogs croaking, and will sometimes be caught talking back to them.
- sleeps in odd and seemingly uncomfortable positions: hanging out of the nest, upside down, etc.
